Lanzado en 2013 para coincidir con el patrocinio de un yate en la carrera Clipper Round the World, Old Pulteney Navigator fue creado para reflejar el rico patrimonio marítimo de la destilería. Se madura en barricas de bourbon ex-americano y de jerez ex-español y se embotella al 46%.

Nariz: manzana dulce y suculenta con toques de chocolate y vainilla.

Boca: Gotas de miel y almíbar de naranja.

Final: Un final salado se cuela de la nada, muy agradable.

Fundada en 1826 por James Henderson en el apogeo del famoso auge del arenque en Wick, la destilería Pulteney es una de las destilerías de whisky escocés más septentrional del continente británico.
