La expresión Triple Wood de Laphroaig es un single malt madurado de forma única que inicialmente se envejeció en barricas antiguas de Bourbon y luego se transfirió a barricas pequeñas antes de un período final en barricas grandes de jerez Oloroso.

Nariz: Aroma con notas de caramelo, pasas y ciruelas pasas.

Boca: Notas de miel, vainilla, galletas con mantequilla, canela y turba.

Final: Atrevido y largo, con notas de turba, sabor salado y frutos rojos.
