Las botellas de WL Weller son los codiciados bourbons "trigos" lanzados por Buffalo Trace Distillery, siendo Special Reserve el de menor precio y el más disponible de la línea. No tiene edad indicada y llega a 90°. Cualquiera que esté familiarizado con el bourbon conoce la línea Weller y su relación con la línea de bourbon Van Winkle de alta gama.
Notas de cata de Whisky Bourbon Reserva Especial WL Weller 1Litro
Nariz: Impulsada por el espíritu, ligera y afrutada... pera, mandarina, piña, hierba de limón y un ligero toque de vainilla.
Boca: Natillas ligeras, papaya, limón y piña. Muy poca influencia del roble.
Final: Corto y ácido con ralladura de cítricos y vainilla.
