The estate produces a number of red and white wines and has occasionally released a rosé.The château was established in 1844 and had been owned by the Pagès family since 1970. In 2019, it was acquired by Breton businessman and hotel owner, Gérard Jicquel. The château lies just north of the small town of Listrac-Médoc, several kilometers southwest of Saint-Julien and a similar distance northwest of Margaux.The estate spans some 46 hectares (114 acres) on predominantly classic Médoc gravel soils with a clay-and-limestone subsoil. The vineyard itself is composed of roughly equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (around 40 percent each) blended with small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
