Detailed Description

A legendary 2009 release from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, this exceptionally mature 18-year-old rye was distilled in 1985 and bottled in Fall 2009. Aged on the first floor of Warehouse K before being transferred to stainless steel, it represents one of the classic early expressions of Sazerac 18. Rich, mature and deeply complex, it combines bold rye spice with dark molasses, leather, oak and subtle sweetness.
