About 16 hectares (40 acres) of this is planted to the Sangiovese Grosso clone, with the remainder planted to a mix of indigenous and international varieties.At harvest, the grapes are hand-picked and sorted on a vibrating table. They are fermented in modern temperature-controlled stainless steel vats.The wines are aged in large casks made from either Slavonian or French oak.
