Like most wineries in the region it is best known for its intense, pungent Sauvignon Blanc, but also makes a range of other wines from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling. The estate was founded in 1978 by by Neal and Judy Ibbotson, and there are now six vineyard sites throughout the Awatere and Wairau valleys.
