Nose: Heather honey, ripe pear, baked apple, vanilla, lemon zest, malt biscuits, toasted almonds, floral notes, soft oak, and gentle spices.

Palate: Honeycomb, creamy vanilla, orchard fruits, caramel, shortbread, citrus peel, roasted hazelnuts, cinnamon, white pepper, toasted oak, and rich malt with a smooth, oily texture.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering honey, vanilla, baked fruit, citrus, toasted oak, gentle baking spices, and sweet malt.

Distillery Information

Founded in 1892 by John Dewar & Sons, Aberfeldy Distillery is located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands near the town of Aberfeldy in Perthshire. The distillery is famous for using water from the Pitilie Burn, a natural source that has long been associated with the character of its whisky. Best known as the heart of the Dewar's blended Scotch range, Aberfeldy produces a distinctive honeyed and approachable single malt with a soft, elegant style. Independent bottlers such as Signatory Vintage have helped showcase the distillery's versatility through carefully selected single casks, revealing the depth and complexity that Aberfeldy's spirit can achieve beyond its role in blends.
