Detailed Description
Detailed Description
A rare 15-year-old wheated bourbon created to explore the effect of entering whiskey into the barrel at a significantly lower proof than Buffalo Trace’s traditional standard. The bourbon entered the barrel at 105 proof and matured for 15 years in Warehouse H, allowing the lower entry strength to shape its interaction with the oak over an extended period. The result is a rich, mature bourbon with caramel sweetness, dried fruit, earthy oak and a distinctive depth.
