This 17-year-old Speyside single malt was distilled in 2008 and matured in refill sherry butts, allowing the whisky’s natural character to develop alongside a restrained influence from the cask. Bottled by independent whisky specialist Cadenhead’s, it combines savoury malt notes with dried fruit, nuts, chocolate and warming spice. Its layered profile balances the richness of sherry-influenced maturation with earthy, cereal-like flavours and subtle fruitiness. The result is a mature, characterful Scotch with a refined combination of sweetness, spice and dark, malty depth.

Nose: Medjool dates, mocha, nutmeg, walnuts and pistachios, complemented by heather, passion fruit and gentle sherry richness.

Palate: Cinnamon, ginger, marzipan and butterscotch develop alongside dark rye bread, toasted malt and dried fruit. Nutty flavours and warming spices add depth and complexity.

Finish: Long and savoury, with aniseed, brandied cherries, rye toast and dark chocolate lingering alongside gentle spice and roasted malt.
