Dalmunach 7 Year Old Amontillado Sherry Hogshead (Blind Summit) Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 500ML

Distilled in September 2018, this seven-year-old Speyside single malt was matured in Amontillado sherry casks, developing a distinctive combination of orchard fruit, nutty richness, and gentle oxidative character. A portion of the whisky received additional maturation in a small Amontillado bloodtub before being reunited with the main spirit, adding concentration and aromatic complexity. Bottled at 55.4% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring, it balances fresh fruit and pastry-like sweetness with dry sherry notes, toasted nuts, and warming spice.

Nose: Stewed green apple, white grapes, melon, and gooseberry, accompanied by almond syrup, pistachio, green tea, and delicate orchard blossom.

Palate: Juicy apple and yellow fruits lead into almonds, toasted nut skins, sponge cake, icing sugar, toffee, and fudge. Ginger and gentle spice bring balance to the rich fruit character.

Finish: Long and gently drying, with green apple skin, toasted nuts, delicate oak, and lingering carrot-cake spice.
