Un whisky especialmente seleccionado de George Dickel, elaborado a partir de barricas elegidas cada año por el maestro destilador; de ahí el nombre "Barrel Select". Se elabora en un lote de unas 10 barricas, cada una de las cuales ha envejecido su contenido durante 10 a 12 años.
Notas de cata de whisky George Dickel Barrel Select Tennessee
Nariz: Aroma a roble, nueces confitadas y vainilla, todo ello apuntalado por un ligero humo de madera.
Boca: Caramelo, malvaviscos tostados, clavo, ligeros cítricos e incluso menta.
Final: Final largo y complejo que contiene más roble, maíz y canela.
Información de la destilería
George Dickel emigró a los Estados Unidos desde Alemania en 1844, donde inició un pequeño negocio minorista en Nashville, Tennessee. Añadió licor a sus líneas de productos en 1861 y se hicieron muy populares.
