Un embotellado de whisky Rare Old de Glenlochy, lanzado por Gordon & Macphail. La destilería cerró en 1983 y desde entonces ha sido demolida, pero afortunadamente G&M tiene un archivo de destilerías perdidas en sus almacenes al que de vez en cuando recurren para buscar whiskies como este, una cosecha de 1979.

Nariz: En nariz es complejo pero no abrumador.
Boca: Dulce, suave y con auténtico sabor a roble.
Final: Muy suave y sabroso.

La destilería Glenlochy se encuentra en Fort William, a orillas del río Nevis y entre las estribaciones de la montaña de donde cae el río. La destilería de whisky fue fundada en 1898 por David McAndie como Glenlochy-Fort William Distillery Company Ltd y el edificio era completamente moderno.
