La destilería Chichibu es una pequeña destilería con sólo nueve empleados a tiempo completo, es propiedad de Venture whisky, que fue fundada en 2004 en la ciudad de Chichibu, Saitama, en las afueras de Tokio, de ahí su nombre. Esta botella en particular estaba incluida en la famosa gama de Ichiro. Es una edición limitada de Hong Kong que se destiló en 2009 y se envejeció en barrica número 640 antes de ser embotellada en 2015. Se lanzó especialmente para el mercado de Hong Kong con solo 214 botellas disponibles.
