Kyrö Sauna Stories No.3 is the third release in the distillery's experimental Sauna Stories series and the first to introduce a smoky character. Made from 100% Finnish malted wholegrain rye, this distinctive whisky combines the bold, peppery character of rye with freshwater peat smoke and the fruity sweetness of Monbazillac dessert wine casks. The finishing process takes place in a traditional Finnish sauna, where heat and humidity encourage interaction between the spirit and the oak. Limited to 3,924 bottles worldwide, this release offers a distinctive combination of smoke, spice, fruit, and sweetness.

Nose: Bright tropical fruits, ripe orchard fruits, and warming rye spice mingle with delicate peat smoke, honeyed sweetness, and hints of dried fruit.

Palate: Peppery rye spice leads into juicy tropical fruits, ripe pears, and stone fruit. Billowing peat smoke develops alongside sweet wine notes, honey, and warming oak, creating a rich balance of fruit and smoke.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering peat smoke, spicy rye, sweet fruit, and gentle oak. A final touch of honeyed sweetness rounds out the smoky character.
