Esta botella de whisky escocés de 16 años de Littlemill Distillery se destiló en octubre de 1990 y se maduró en dos barricas, 2994 y 2995, antes de que el embotellador independiente Signatory Vintage la tomara y llenara 654 botellas al 43% ABV.

Nariz: Tiene aromas muy agradables y entrañables.

Boca: Un sabor en boca muy agradable, rico y suave. Preciosa textura.

Final: Impresionante longitud en el final, muy singular y complejo.

Información de la destilería

Los alambiques de la destilería Littlemill cayeron en un perpetuo silencio en 1994, solo para ser vendidos a Loch Lomond Distillery Company y posteriormente desmantelados poco después. Un incendio en septiembre de ese mismo año selló el destino de Littlemill. La destilería había cerrado una década antes, pero reabrió sus puertas en 1989 tras la adquisición por parte de Gibson International. Aunque técnicamente es una destilería de las Tierras Bajas, Littlemill, al igual que su colega de las Tierras Bajas, Auchentoshan, extrae sus aguas de encima de la línea de las Tierras Altas, de un manantial en las colinas de Kilpatrick.
