Este bourbon fue elaborado según nuestra exclusiva receta familiar de trigo. El suave sabor a roble combina bien con la prueba de barrica. Seleccionado de barricas en el corazón de nuestro almacén de Kentucky, este bourbon ha permanecido intacto durante 15 años.

Nariz: Tiene aromas muy agradables y entrañables.

Boca: Paladar con mucho cuerpo, con intensos sabores a caramelo, toffe y especias marrones picantes.

Final: Termine con un desvanecimiento extremo, largo, complejo y en evolución de notas especiadas y de madera.

Información de la destilería

En mayo de 1935, a la edad de 61 años, Pappy abrió la recién terminada destilería Stitzel-Weller en el sur de Louisville. Tuvo una gran influencia en las operaciones allí hasta su muerte a la edad de 91 años. Su hijo, Julian, Jr. se hizo cargo de las operaciones hasta que los accionistas lo obligaron a vender la destilería en 1972.
