Nose: Rich caramel, vanilla bean, toasted oak, dark honey, maple syrup, roasted pecans, cinnamon, and dried orange peel.

Palate: Full-bodied with layers of toffee, brown sugar, dark cherry, baking spices, leather, toasted oak, and dark chocolate. A rich mouthfeel is balanced by warming spice and mature oak.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering caramel, charred oak, sweet tobacco, cocoa, black pepper, and baking spice.

Distillery Information

Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. was originally established in the late 1880s and was revived in Louisville, Kentucky, by the Taylor family after decades of inactivity. The distillery has earned recognition for producing sweet mash bourbon and rye whiskey rather than using the more common sour mash process, creating distinctive and flavorful spirits. Every release is bottled without chill filtration to preserve its natural character and texture.
