Este whisky del grano a la botella se elabora con 100% centeno y se añeja en barriles de bourbon usados; como tal, técnicamente no es un whisky de centeno, sino un whisky elaborado con puré de centeno. Tiene una crianza de 13 meses en barricas pequeñas. Como el resto de su serie Small Caliber, esta también lleva el nombre de un arma de fuego; el Walker Colt .44 lleva el nombre del Capitán Samuel H Walker de los Texas Rangers y Samuel Colt, el inventor de las armas.
