Nose: Fresh sugarcane, vanilla, tropical fruits, banana, dried pineapple, floral notes, toasted oak, honey, and gentle spice.

Palate: Ripe tropical fruits, cane honey, vanilla cream, caramel, coconut, dried fruits, cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted oak, and subtle herbal agricole notes with a rich texture.

Finish: Long and refined, with lingering sugarcane sweetness, vanilla, tropical fruit, oak spice, dried fruits, and gentle woody notes.

Distillery Information

Founded in 1765, Distillerie Saint James is one of the oldest and most iconic rum producers in Martinique. Located in Sainte-Marie, the distillery has played a major role in developing and preserving the tradition of Rhum Agricole, producing rum from fresh sugarcane juice rather than molasses. Saint James is one of the key producers responsible for establishing the reputation of Martinique's AOC-certified agricole rum, combining traditional column distillation with careful aging in French and American oak. With more than two centuries of history, the house continues to represent the heritage, terroir, and craftsmanship of Martinican rum, with special releases such as Cuvée Élégance 260 Ans celebrating its remarkable legacy.
