An unpeated German single malt from St Kilian, independently bottled by Adelphi. Distilled in 2017 and matured for six years in a Moscatel butt, cask 5161 was bottled at a cask strength of 59.7% ABV. The fortified wine cask has added concentrated stone fruit, citrus, floral sweetness, and spice to St Kilian’s weighty malt spirit.

Nose: Orange blossom, apricot jam, sultanas, honey, malt, and fragrant spice.

Palate: Peach, candied citrus, grape must, vanilla, toasted malt, and warming oak.

Finish: Dried apricot, honey, pepper, and floral Moscatel notes.
