Para este whisky, las barricas de vino tinto australiano han sido seleccionadas a mano y de forma meticulosa y local. Se seleccionó una colección de barricas de Shiraz, Cabernet y Pinot sin carbonizar, que se conservaron exactamente como estaban cuando salieron de la bodega. Esto preserva tanto el carácter del vino como del roble, que confieren un carácter maravillosamente complejo al espíritu.

Información de la destilería

En 2007, Starward Whiskey fue fundada por David Vitale, quien se separó para iniciar su propia marca después de impulsar el movimiento australiano de malta única bajo la tutela del padrino del whisky Bill Lark. Vitale, originario de Melbourne, fundó Starward Distillery en 2016.
