Wheel Horse Double Oak is a Kentucky straight bourbon matured initially in new charred oak barrels before being transferred into a second set of new charred American oak casks for additional maturation. This double-oak process deepens the whiskey’s natural sweetness while building a richer, more pronounced wood character. Notes of caramel, dark cherry, raw sugar, and cocoa are complemented by toasted oak and warming spice. The result is a robust, oak-forward bourbon with a rich sweetness and a lingering finish.

Nose: Rich toffee, caramel, and dark cherry, followed by brown sugar, vanilla, toasted oak, and hints of cocoa.

Palate: Full-bodied and oak-forward, with caramelized sugar, dark cherry, vanilla, and toffee. Espresso, cocoa nibs, toasted wood, and baking spices add depth and balance.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering caramel, dark chocolate, toasted oak, and clove. A touch of dry oak spice balances the lingering sweetness.
