El whisky Wild Turkey Spiced se lanzó por primera vez en 2013 utilizando un whisky bourbon en su base y se embotelló a una graduación relativamente alta de 86 grados para el mercado del whisky aromatizado; esto nos implica que están tratando de atraer a una multitud de whisky más sofisticada. Aun así, la reseña de DrinkSpirits.com cree que definitivamente "tiene azúcar" junto con notas de sabor a roble, vainilla, maíz, canela y clavo... esto implica para nosotros una especie de competidor en el mercado del ron especiado.

En 1869, los Ripy Brothers comenzaron a destilar en Wild Turkey Hill, cerca de Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Sus inicios transcurrieron bien y su Bourbon, Ripy Brother Bourbon, fue seleccionado para representar al estado de Kentucky en la Feria Mundial de Chicago en 1893.
