William Larue Weller (1825 – 1899) fundó una empresa mayorista de licores, llamada WL Weller & Sons, en la década de 1840 en Lousiville, Kentucky. A su legado se le atribuye la creación del primer Wheated Bourbon comercial, ahora producido bajo el nombre de WL Weller en Buffalo Trace Distillery.
