Due to its high-end wines, the winery was chosen to toast at the World Economic Forum in Davos, an important meeting attended by the world’s great leaders.The La Scolca Winery was bought by the great-grandfather of Giorgio Soldati, a present owner, in the late 1920s. Today, along with his daughter, Chiara Soldati, the fifth generation is managing the functionality of the winery with great passion and dedication. During the time of purchase, the land was surrounded by forest, and some part of the estate was cultivated with wheat.
