The Quinta Das Bágeiras winery is located in Fogueira in Sangalhos, Portugal. The team at Quinta Das Bágeiras strive to produce wines that are filled with quality and character. The approach that the winemakers take in making their wines is extremely minimalistic, leaving the process to be as natural as possible so that the wines can convey the characteristics of the terroir from which they come. Quinta Das Bágeiras is a family run business that was established 20 years ago. The initial estate had only 12 hectares of vineyards to which a further 16 hectares were later added. All of the grapes produced in the vineyards are hand picked. The Quinta Das Bágeiras red wines are made in lagares without any additional yeast and the Quinta Das Bágeiras sparkling wines have no residual sugar. oday the Quinta Das Bágeiras has various vineyards named Bagieras, Figueira da Coast, Pine Couple, Coastal, Water Pond, Road Pond, Barrium, Quinta das Pedreiras, Corga, Head and Riches. Across all of these vineyards the Quinta Das Bágeiras brand is the backbone of all of the wines produced. The wonderful wines of Quinta Das Bágeiras include the Garrafeira Tinto, the Reserve Red, the Red Harvest, the Great Reserve Sparkling wine, the Super Reserve Sparkling, the Bruto Natural Tinto and the Bruto Natural, the Bruto Natural Rose. Along with these wines, the estate also produces excellent brandy and vinegar.
