Nose: Splendid aromas in the opening whiffs, from cinnamon to nutmeg to baked pear to dried fruits to candied almond to toffee.

Palate: Succulent, bittersweet fragrances of dried flowers, brown butter, bacon fat, sautéed mushrooms, dark caramel.

Finish: Finishes long, satiny.
