An indie bottling of Ben Nevis from Duncan Taylor, distilled in 2012 and matured for 11 years in a single cask. A total of 286 bottles were released in 2023. This Bottle will make a fine addition for to any Scotland Single Malt whisky lover.

Nose: Buttery pastry, creamy vanilla, juicy stonefruits, and sweet notes of butterscotch.

Palate: Vibrant barley, plump sultanas, honeyed nuts, and poached stone fruits are backed by toffee and candied ginger.

Finish: Sofy spices, biscuity barley, and zesty fruit linger.

Distillery Information

The distillery was founded by John MacDonald in 1825 at the foot of the famous Ben Nevis hill. 20 years later his son opened another distillery called Nevis. It was closed after 30 years of production. Today its buildings serve as warehouses for the Ben Nevis distillery.
