A second edition of Edinburgh-honouring Big Peat! This time, the Islay-whisky-based blended malt has been bottled at 48% ABV, though once again features Big Peat shredding some hot licks on some bagpipes.
Big Peat Edinburgh - Edition #2 Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Burnt cinnamon rolls (in a good way), earthy smoke and an underlying hint of oily walnut.
Palate: Nutmeg and black pepper, with layers of meaty smoke and caramelised sugar.
Finish: Grassy and peppery. Lots of peat richness.
