Black Bowmore 50 Year Old, The Last Cask To Be Rediscovered is a whisky aged to perfection. First distilled on 5 November 1964 at the Bowmore distillery on Islay, over the years this series has become one of the rarest and most sought-after single malt whiskies ever created.

Bowmore Black 50 Year Old Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: Absorbing layers of ripe exotic fruits, aromatic orange peel and rich black cherry.

Palate: The sublime silky taste of mango, passion fruit and acacia honey interwoven with the power of fine velvet chocolate espresso.

Finish: The finish has a wonderful persistence defining its half-century history with syrupy black truffle and a nuance of spice.

Bowmore is a distillery that produces scotch whisky on the isle of Islay, an island of the Inner Hebrides. The distillery, which lies on the South Eastern shore of Loch Indaal, is one of the oldest in Scotland and is said to have been established in 1779.
