Released in the US in 2013, the Bulleit 10 Year Old has finally made it's way over to Celtic Whiskey Shop. The Bulleit 10 Year Old is Tom Bulleit's selected reserve. Aged in charred American white oak, this Bourbon has rich oaky aromas followed by notes of vanilla, spice, oak and dried fruit.

• Palate: Smooth taste with vanilla and dried fruit.
• Finish: Long and smoky.

This extraordinary extra-aged Rye Whiskey is the first to carry the name of Elijah Craig: the entrepreneur and distiller who is credited with being the first to age his American Whiskey in charred oak barrels to make Bourbon. Elijah’s pioneering spirit and commitment to craft is on full display with this Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey, which is produced from barrels specifically selected by their distillers. In the glass, Elijah Craig Rye reveals the imbuing spice of rye grains, perfectly balanced with corn for distinct smoothness and character.

• Nose: Orange peel, rye spice, cherry, and strawberry hard candy.
• Palate: Candied orange, caramel and cinnamon.
• Finish: Long and rich.

Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon Tasting Notes

The replacement for the hugely popular Elijah Craig 12 Year Old, this no age statement bourbon is created from spirit aged between eight and 12 years old. Notes of nuts, vanilla, coconut, dark fruit and caramel.

• Nose: Vanilla, orange zest, toffee, and a dash of mint.
• Palate: Rich with wood spice, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
• Finish: Deeply layered and complex with a hint of mint.
