Glenmorangie Elegance 21 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

A unique decanter of Glenmorangie Elegance 21 year old. The glass decanter is in the shape of the famous swan-necked pot stills at Glenmorangie distillery, which are the tallest in Scotland. The delightful decanter is hand-blown by Scotland's leading glassmakers, Caithness Glass. At 17 feet the stills used at the Glenmorangie distillery are the tallest in Scotland, and while the glass decanter here is a perfect scale likeness of said stills rest assured it won’t necessitate a ceiling extension for your home. The 21 year old Elegance inside is a delicious expression from the Highlanders.

Distillery Information

The Glenmorangie distillery was established in 1843, on the Dornoch Firth by brothers William and John Matheson. The site originally held a farm distillery under the name Morangie. There is evidence that distillation was carried out at this site during the early 18th century. Production began in November of 1849. During the latter part of the 19th century Glenmorangie began overseas exportation and destinations included Europe and the United States.
