Detailed Description
A Swedish single malt from Mackmyra that is inspired by the picturesque countryside at golden hour in the south of France. Mackmyra Limousin has been matured in a combination of French Limousin oak ex-Cognac barrels, oloroso sherry casks, ex-bourbon barrels, American white oak casks, Swedish oak casks and casks that previously held raspberry wine, creating aromas of berries, dried fruit, vanilla, prunes and orange zest that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of vanilla caramel, almonds, dark chocolate, dried fruit, ginger, pear and sour caramel that linger in the finish.
