This 10 year old Islay single malt is the flagship release in Bruichladdich's heavily peated range, Port Charlotte. Distilled, matured and bottled on Islay alone, the 10 year old has been crafted using first-fill and second-fill American whiskey casks as well as a proportion of second-fill French wine casks. This pack includes two finely crafted whisky glasses making it the perfect gift for peat lovers.

Nose: Dry and smoky peat ash, balanced with caramel, fudge vanilla and hints of ginger, nutmeg and cloves.

Palate: Smoky and sweet with coconut, vanilla, lemon honey, smoked oysters and salty sand.

Finish: The smoke continues with malted barley and sweet fruity notes.

Bruichladdich Distillery is a distillery on the Rhinns of the isle of Islay in Scotland. The distillery produces mainly single malt Scotch whisky, but has also offered artisanal gin. It is owned by Rémy Cointreau and is one of eight working distilleries on the island.
