The 1964 Private Bottling of Springbank is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. This whisky was released in January 2005 and was distilled in 1964. It is a rare and limited-edition bottling, with only 600 bottles produced. The whisky was aged for 40 years in a combination of bourbon and sherry-seasoned oak casks, giving it a deep, rich flavor. It has notes of fruit, honey, and peat smoke. The whisky is bottled at cask strength, making it bold and intense.
