Like all the varieties in the t1 Tequila Uno masterpiece collection, t1 Uno Extra Anejo Sensacional, is made from 100% mature Agave Azul from Jalisco in the Highlands of Mexico. Grown using traditional methods, and containing more agave than most tequila, 84 proof Extra Anejo is aged for 3-1/2 years in scotch casks, giving it a hint of smokiness and a whisper of mezcal.

T1's master distiller, Germán González, is the son of Chinaco founder, Guillermo Gonzalez Diaz Lombardo, and grandson of General Manuel González, the former president of Mexico. After working for years as Chinaco's master distiller, Germán left to start his own tequila label. Part of the t1 Tequila Uno Masterpiece Collection, Extra Añejo Sensacional is made with 100% mature agave azul from Jalisco, Mexico. It is aged for 3-1/2 years in former scotch whisky casks and bottled at 84 proof.

Nose: Fruity, medium oak, with light notes of cooked agave.
Palate: Sweet, fruity, citrus.
Finish: Long, medium oak and vanilla.
