Tobermory 10 Year Old 2011 Virgin Oak Cask Finish Whisky | 700ML

This was distilled in 2011, finished in virgin oak casks before bottling at 57% ABV with no chill-filtering or colour added. 966 bottles were filled so this is rare. This Bottle will make a fine addition for to any Scotland Single Malt whisky lover.

Nose: Spicy nose with cloves, cardamon and fruity olives.

Palate: Brown sugar, honey, vanilla sponge and coconut with cloves, cinnamon and a green apple freshness.

Finish: Rich and creamy with lingering toffee.

Distillery Information

A distillery was established in the port during 1798, crammed into a tight site beside the Ledaig Burn, between a hillside rising above the town and head of the bay. It was constructed by local merchant John Sinclair, a decade after the settlement of Tobermory itself had been founded by the British Fisheries Society.
