Vagabond Spirits White Pearls Laos Rum | 700ML

A remarkable white rum made from pure fresh sugar-cane juice from local Laotian cane, representing one of the first commercial white rums from Laos. The rum was distilled in March 2024 in a 350-liter Chinese-style copper pot still using double distillation, then rested for six months in terracotta amphorae to soften its high-strength character.

Nose: Fresh sugar cane, mango, pineapple, lime zest, pink grapefruit, green herbs and honey, with a clean mineral character.

Palate: Full and oily, with fresh cane juice, mango, pineapple, citrus and honey, followed by green herbs, mineral notes and a gentle peppery warmth.

Finish: Long and warming, with ripe peach, lime, fresh cane, mineral tones and lingering peppery spice.

Vagabond Spirits is an independent French rum bottler focused on exploration, unusual blends, and experimental maturation techniques. The Off Road series reflects this philosophy by taking rums from different island traditions and subjecting them to unconventional aging environments. For Off Road 3.2, the company combined Cape Verdean Grogue with Guadeloupe rum before sending the filled French-oak barrels beneath the Atlantic off Brittany, creating a distinctive expression shaped by both tropical cane traditions and maritime maturation.
