Red currants, cinnamon and violet leap out of the glass. This is a fresh, clean Sangiovese with crunchy red fruit and a light, fresh finish. Grapes grown organically with biodynamic principles applied while ageing takes place in old oak / cement eggs.

Giordano established his estate in the year 2000, named the estate after his lovely wife, Mara, and began to fulfill his passion for winemaking. Tenuta Biodinamica Mara is located next to the hilly village of San Clemente, exposed to the gentle sun and charming scenery of Romagna. The wine production at the Tenuta Mara is completely biodynamic and is dedicated to producing high-class organic wines made with MaraMia DOC.Tenuta Mara consists of three rooms in the cellar, each for a different purpose. The Tinaia cellar is the house of six large oat vats and six in cement, decorated with colorful designs. Furthermore, the Bottaia acts as a temple of wines, comprised of barrels and a concrete egg cask, situated in the middle of the cellar, leaving an enchanting view to the cellar. In La Bariccaia, you can witness the barriques and the tonneaux, decorated with Byzantine art. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the vineyards of Tenuta Biodinamica Mara Winery covers an area of seven hectares where the production staff grows world class Sangiovese di Romagna vines to produce luscious red wines.
