Producer Information
In 1848, Yitzhak Galina-Shor established the family winery from the depths of the cellar next to the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem. Over the generations, the Shor family continued to produce wine as a way of life and to create an age-old family heritage. In practice, the winery emphasizes the use of advanced agriculture, professionalism, attention to details and technological innovation, with the aim of producing quality wines. The central element in the winery's logo is the illustration of the roots symbolizing Yossi's appreciation for the glorious family heritage over generations. The winery currently produces about 250,000 bottles per year.
