Aurelien Lurquin. This is a name that is still little known but which, little by little, is rising within the sphere of sophisticated amateurs in search of new wines that respect the grapes and the soil. Located in Romery in the Marne Valley, this winemaker's property is distinguished by its small size: only 2.3 hectares. Quality is therefore favored over quantity. Evidenced by the know-how that combines with talent and passion the energy of the plants, the mineral vibrations and the forces of life specific to each terroir. Thus, only 2,000 bottles of still and sparkling wines are made from emblematic grape varieties such as the majority pinot noir at 40%, chardonnay up to 35%, pinot meunier (24%) and, a rarer variety: the small meslier (1%). Note that another part of its production is sold to merchants.
