This Vernaccia Biscondola is a delicious gold-coloured wine with delicate aromas of citrus, white peach, orange blossom and honey. Creamy on the palate balanced by plenty of acidity to ensure vibrancy and freshness. It finishes with a distinctly savoury twist reminiscent of blanched almonds.

Producer Information

Just outside San Gimignano, the town with the many towers, we find Poderi del Paradiso surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The Cetti family has taken viticulture very seriously ever since Graziella Cappelli, wife of Dr. Vasco Cetti, took over the management and operation of the property. She restructured the entire farm, replanted the vineyards and built a new wine house. Poderi del Paradiso is run today by their son, David. The area covers 52 ha, of which wine is grown on 19 ha. Paradiso is unique in that the Cetti family has not only dedicated itself to preserving the beauty and glory of San Gimignano's classic white wines, but also by producing a ground-breaking "family" of red wines based on the original Tuscan sangiovese. In the amphitheater-shaped vineyards in the valley at the foot of San Gimignano, the sun gathers like in a basin and delivers a "pure" energy which helps to achieve an incredible ripening of the grapes.
