The nose reveals a blend of spices, including anise and white pepper, which intertwine harmoniously. Ripe tart cherry and delicate violet aromas follow, adding further depth to the bouquet. On the palate, a refreshing and fruit-forward character takes centre stage, with prominent notes of black currant and blueberry. Subtle hints of smokiness add an extra layer of complexity, culminating in a delightful tasting experience.

Sauska-Tokaj is a winery in the Tokaj region in Hungary. The winery has a number of vineyards in both Tokaj and Villány. The winery mainly grows varieties traditional to Hungary such as Furmint, Hárslevelű and Kékfrankos alongside some international varieties. The latter include Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. A wide range of wine styles are made, from dry whites and sparkling wines, to rosé, reds and Tokaji. Additionally, there is a restaurant attached to the winery which focuses on local, seasonal Hungarian food.
