which is surrounded by vineyards that we are passionate about. Our vines are just as dependent on us as we are on them - we exchange ideas - without saying a word, but always with respect and amazement at the ability of the vines to bring aromas, scents and tastes from the depths of the shell limestone to light. The work in the vineyard is determined by the harmonious rhythm of nature between budding, harvesting and pruning. Our winery is in the heart of Escherndorf, where one house nestles next to another, we literally live between water and wine. Below the Main forms a majestic loop and above our vines are in the rag. Our workplace is right in nature. Every year the vines suck new life from the chalky limestone of the Tertiary period. We live in Escherndorf, a typical Franconian terraced village, and continue to develop our idea of ​​elegant and characterful wines through the creative interaction of generations. Producing wine is a family tradition for us. Our work all year round is based on the fantastic opportunities that nature and the unique Escherndorf terroir offer us. This is where we draw our strength and the vision to make the shell limestone resonate in our wine. If it touches the mouth and palate and gives joy, then it is good.
