A great cask strength expression from Benromach distillery, laid down in 1981, shortly before the distillery was mothballed. Bottled in 2006 by new owners Gordon & MacPhail, this expression has been aged for a full 25 years in refill sherry butts (numbers 584-586).

A bottling of 1981 vintage Benromach, produced by the previous owners before the distillery's 1983 mothballing, but bottled by new owners Gordon & Macphail. This is only going to get rarer, as there won't be any 21 year old whisky finishing its maturation until 2019, 21 years after the distillery reopened in 1998.

Benromach is a Speyside distillery founded by Duncan McCallum and F.W. Brickman in 1898 and currently owned and run by Gordon and Macphail of Elgin. It is situated near Forres in Morayshire and is fed with spring water from the Chapelton Springs in the Romach Hills beside
