Denizen Merchant Reserve 8 Year Old Rum

Drawing on the Netherlands long history of sourcing and blending rum, Denizen is looking to bring a more classic sensibility to your rum cocktails. Merchant’s Reserve combines Rhum Grand Arome from Martinique and rums from four different Jamaican distilleries: Clarendon, Hampden, New Yarmouth, and Worthy Park. 60% of the rum has been aged for 8 years in ex-bourbon barrels.

Denizen Merchant Reserve 8 Year Old Rum Tasting Notes

Nose: Pronounced notes of petrol, iodine, cinnamon, pear, and a hint of grass and fresh herbs.

Palate: The taste is equally earthy and intense with flavors like leather, tobacco, sweet potato, and smoke.

Finish: A smooth, spicy finish.
