Agaveros y Tequileros Unidos de Los Altos produces a few different specialty labels of tequilas including Casino Azul and Hacienda de los Diaz. The distillery is now titled to Hotel California tequila. Hotel California blanco tequila was very recently launched in 2009. The name comes from Hotel California circa 1950 in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. This legendary locale has been a magnet for visitors from around the world for 59 years. We are assured that despite any rockers yearning to make sentimental connections to the Eagles or any other band or song, there is no such connection.
Hotel California Blanco Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: Fresh agave with floral and fruit notes.
Palate: This sweet, floral agave offering provides great texture and structure combined with understated honey flavors tequila purists will find in no other Blanco.
Finish: A cool mouth feel, and a long, endless finish suggesting more maturity than typical un-aged tequila.
