A 13 year old Campbeltown single malt from the Springbank distillery, released under the Longrow name - so expect a good kick of peat with this one! For this release, the whisky was finished in Malbec casks for 15 months after 12 years in bourbon casks.

Nose : Smoky from the off, but also generous and soft, mixing lightly earthy, lush black fruits (cherry, cooked plum) with a lightly meaty element. Autumnal and complex.
Palate: Immediate and beautifully balanced mix of fruits and smoke. The finishing cask adds layers of pomegranate molasses, cherry and fig that give depth.
Finish: Generous, smoky and rich.
Distillery Information
The Springbank distillery is a family-owned single malt whisky distillery on the Kintyre Peninsula in western Scotland. It is owned by J & A Mitchell & Company, who also owns the Glengyle Distillery, the oldest independent bottler, William Cadenheads, and several blended scotch labels.
