Rib Shack Red is a stellar wine out of South Africa. Robust, yet smooth Rib Shack Red wine out of South Africa’s Western Cape is a very versatile wine that pairs well with both meats and poultry. The rich dark berry flavors meld beautifully with a slightly smoky oak spice from wood maturation. As fall begins to bring chillier weather, it is easy to imagine sitting around a roaring fire sipping Rib Shack Red while savoring a smooth silky Brie or Camembert cheese. Vintner Douglas Green has maintained the excellent quality of wines originating in South Africa with his ultra-smooth blend of Pinotage and Shiraz* varietals.
